Bust Half Dollars
1831 50C O-111, R.1, MS62 NGC. Lightly toned with pale-blue, gold, and lavender shades at the borders and silver-gray centers, the O-111 is readily available except when struck from perfect dies. This Mint State example shows the usual fine die cracks that underscore the date and surround the stars. A sharp strike exists despite characteristic weakness for the variety at TA of STATES and the scroll beneath those letters.
