Bust Half Dollars
1832 50C Small Letters, O-114, High R.4, AU55 PCGS. A dot at the throat and multiple lines beneath the eagle's breast feathers confirm the scarce Overton-114 variety. Certainly within the Condition Census for the variety, it displays gold-toned surfaces with amber overtones. The strike is mostly sharp save for normal weakness at the scroll and stars drawn to the edge. This Choice AU example is sure to be of great interest to collectors, given the rarity of fully Uncirculated examples.
