Bust Half Dollars
1833 50C O-112, R.2, MS62 PCGS. Repunching on star 10 and a left-leaning A in STATES key the pick-up points for O-112, a readily available variety although not always as attractive as this glossy and lustrous example. Steel-blue and rose-red shades provide a colorful patina over smooth, nearly unmarked surfaces. The uppermost stars are flat and the opposing area on the reverse is slightly weak (characteristic of the die pair), yet sharp definition remains elsewhere. The eye appeal is excellent.
