Bust Half Dollars
1836 50C Lettered Edge, O-112, R.1, MS62 NGC. The "bar dot" on the outer curve of 6 in the date is the pick-up point for Overton-112, supported by a die line that joins the lower two arrowheads on the reverse. A faint trace of almond-gold at the margins encircles brilliant centers of this lustrous Uncirculated coin. The stars are sharp as is the portrait, with minor softness at the drapery lines. O-112 is normally weak at the scroll beneath STATES and at the eagle's head and neck feathers.
