1870-CC $1 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. OC-8, High R.4. PCGS notes old cleaning, although this Carson City semikey has since retoned deep blue-green and gray hues. The coin boasts mostly smooth surfaces and has sharp design elements, including the peripheral stars around Liberty's head. The Carson City Mint was in its infancy in 1870, and the low mintages of the Seated dollar series from this mint reflect as much.
