1942 1C Experimental Amber Glass Cent, RB 42-70-X-4, R.7 -- Fragment -- NGC. 0.95 grams, 20.99 mm. (vertical), Specific Gravity 2.60. This yellow-amber example is clipped, possible during company tests, and is now missing the left one-third of the piece. The impression is extremely weak with relief noticeably rounded, and with myriad bubbles, especially on the obverse, with both faces rough. The edge was not finished, and exhibits the remains of a molding sprue along its circumference.
