(1942) 1C Cyan-Aqua Glass Preform (Blank), RB 42-70-T-3, R.8, MS66 NGC. 2.38 grams, 21.18 mm. (vertical), Specific Gravity 2.47. Following the late 1942 glass cent experiments, the Blue Ridge Glass Corporation produced special glass tokens as souvenirs given to their employees. These approximately cent-sized pieces were produced on preforms (blanks) of light cyan-aqua glass. These preforms are not part of the coinage experiments but were intended for the company tokens.
