1854 G$1 Type One MS65 PCGS. Like the 1853 before it, this Type One gold dollar issue is relatively collectible through MS65. However, it is very scarce at that level and rare any finer. This is a gorgeous, thickly frosted, lavender-gold Gem with pinpoint strike detail on the stars, curls, and reverse legends. Population: 43 in 65 (4 in 65+), 21 finer (6/17).
