Indian Quarter Eagles
1914 $2 1/2 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Aside from the 1911-D, the 1914 quarter eagle claims the low-mintage honors among the other Indian Head quarter eagles. Just 240,000 pieces were struck. This is a Choice Uncirculated example, softly lustrous with a razor-sharp strike and only a few tiny marks. Less granular in surface texture than most 1914s, the eye appeal is strong with distinctive straw-gold color and rose overtones. CAC: 69 in 64, 9 finer (6/17).
