1926 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Big Sky Collection. The yellow-gold surfaces of this gorgeous Gem are imbued with whispers of soft green and apricot. The design elements are sharply struck throughout, a consistent attribute of this issue. Both sides are awash with vibrant luster, and neither reveals mentionable contact marks. This design type with raised, exposed fields usually shows abrasions or at least ticks in those areas, especially on the reverse, even on high-grade specimens. The present coin is pleasing exception, showing remarkably clean surfaces. PCGS shows 45 submissions in finer grades (6/17).
