Liberty Eagles
1860 $10 AU58 NGC. Eagle mintages were minimal during the late 1850s and the 1860s, with the exception of the 1861. The 1860 Philadelphia issue comes from a production of 15,055 coins and is scarce in AU grades and rare in Mint State. This nearly Uncirculated example shows sharp detail and original orange-gold patina that deepens toward the borders. A linear mark behind Liberty's eye is among a few scattered abrasions that accompany the grade. Census: 25 in 58, 7 finer (6/17).
