Indian Eagles
1916-S $10 MS62 PCGS. CAC. The San Francisco Mint was the sole producer of gold coinage in 1916, striking five, ten, and twenty dollar gold pieces. The eagle experienced the lowest numeric production at 138,500 coins. It is by far the scarcest denomination of this date in Uncirculated condition. This piece displays frosty orange-gold luster and original surfaces. Bold design elements and luminous fields show scattered light contact marks that limit the grade.
