Liberty Double Eagles
1869-S $20 AU58 NGC. The 1869-S double eagle is scarce in any Mint State grade. This near-Mint coin has mostly lustrous fields where moderate abrasions have not dulled the cartwheel effect. The strike is sharp and there is modest reflectivity on the reverse. Some of the obverse abrasions are rather deep, likely contributing to a sub-MS grade.
