1878 $20 MS62 PCGS. Minor Variety, Doubled Die Reverse, Variety 2. The second 8 in the date is repunched, and clear doubling occurs on the reverse stars and the base of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Flashy luster cartwheels over rose and green-gold surfaces with faint grazes throughout but few significant abrasions. All design features are strongly rendered. Rare in higher grades.
