1879-S $20 MS61 PCGS. This satiny Mint State 1879-S double eagle displays original rose-gold and peach-yellow hues throughout. The strike is sharp. Both sides have grade-appropriate abrasions but none that are individually mentionable. The 1879-S twenty is occasionally seen in this grade but becomes scarce just one point finer.
