Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1910-S $20 MS65 PCGS. Although more than 2.1 million 1910-S Saint-Gaudens double eagles were struck, the issue is elusive in Gem condition. Finer examples exist, but there are only 10 such pieces each at PCGS and NGC, and they are costly to acquire if located (6/17). This MS65 is boldly struck and satiny with medium cream-gold luster. A few scattered marks in the eagle's wing are only noticed with a loupe.
