Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1920 $20 MS64 PCGS. The return to Saint-Gaudens double eagle output at the Mint resulted in a production of 228,250 coins in 1920. Incredibly, just a single Gem is certified finer at PCGS (6/17). This near-Gem exhibits strong detail on the obverse stars and Capitol columns. Softly frosted luster shimmers over orange-gold surfaces with a couple of small alloy spots on the reverse.
