Territorial Gold
(1842-52) G$1 A. Bechtler Dollar, 27G. 21C., Plain Edge, K-24, R.3, MS61 PCGS. CAC. A few examples are known with a reeded edge, but this Plain Edge coin is much more collectible. It is boldly and evenly struck with prooflike fields and sharp rims. Brass-gold surfaces are without mentionable flaws on the obverse but show a few faint hairline scratches on the reverse that show up due to the reflective fields. K-24 examples are scarce this fine. Population: 14 in 61, 17 finer. CAC: 9 in 61, 7 finer (6/17).
