35.9 gms. Bruce-9; Gil-S9. Crowned bust of Haile Salassie facing left, legend around; Reverse: Imperial monogram in trilobe, legend around. The reverse legend is a passage from the book of Psalms 68:32 "Ethiopia shall stretch forth her hands to god". These medals were distributed to visiting dignitaries attending the coronation. Well struck with light wispy hairlines in the open fields somewhat subdued with attractive honey-gold tone which deepens around the devices. Quite attractive and very interesting. NGC MS-62.
