Gold Medal for the Exhibition of Power and Work Machinery in Altona, 1881. By C. D. Claudius. 43.8mm. 34.75 gms. Obverse: Legend: "INTERNATIONALE AUSTELLUNG VON KRAFT UND ARBEITS MALCHINEN ALTONA 1881" around the Crest of Altona, an independent Borough of Hamburg. Reverse: A workman, resting on a cog wheel which encloses the image of a horizontal steam engine. The edge is plain. Problem-free. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
