GREAT BRITAIN. Four Piece Sovereign Proof Set, 1993. GEM BRILLIANT PROOF.
Fr-422/425; KM-PS86; S-PGS18. Authorized mintage of only 1,250 sets, but according to Spink only 1,078 sets were issued. Set also includes a silver Pistrucci medal and medalette with Royal crown, name of monarch and date of set. In case of issue with certificate of authenticity serial # 56. The 1 and 2 Pounds are lightly toned. Otherwise all are sharply struck with hard flashy proof surfaces and stark contrast to the frosted devices. All are essentially as made. GEM BRILLIANT PROOF.
