A superb selection of medals including: Eimer-105A, the 1625 silver Royal Wedding jeton of Charles I; Eimer-221, the silver 1661 Coronation Medal of Charles II; and Eimer-241, the 56 mm 1667 silver Peace of Breda medal (holed). Other early medals include Eimer-162a (holed), 460, 564, and 605 plus 7 additional pieces of later vintage - as well as a Vernon piece - the 1740 Fort Chagre Medal, Adams & Chao FCv-1A. A tremendous lot for the collector or dealer with many significant pieces. Sizes range from 23 to 55 mm, and about half are struck in silver. Approximate retail value of about $2,400.
