Fr-86; KM-381.8. EXTREMELY RARE. The finest known of only 3 reported examples of the date. Well struck and lustrous with hints of lovely orange tone on the high points and amongst the devices. Truly an exceptional rarity of the Republican escudos and sure to excite even the most advanced of collectors. A similar example in our NYINC 2011 auction graded NGC AU-55 hammered down at $26,000.
