NICARAGUA. Two Piece Proof Set, 1962. Royal Mint, London.
KM-17.2 & 24.2; Flores-pg. 38 & 44. Incuse lettering on edge "B C N". Set includes a 5 Centavos graded PROOF 66 ULTRA CAMEO, while the 10 Centavos graded PROOF 66 CAMEO. Identical to the previous issues with the exception of the change in edge lettering from "B N N" to "B C N" and as such are the first issues of the Banco Central de Nicaragua. Both exhibit hard flashy proof surfaces as would be expected being Royal mint products with frosted cameo devices. A lovely matched set and sure to excite Nicaraguan collectors. NGC PROOF 66 CAMEO & PROOF 66 ULTRA CAMEO.
