Reverse: Christ and Apostles aboard a ship in stormy seas, legend "IN TEMPESTATE SECURITAS" above. A popular design which was struck in various sizes and metals for hundreds of years, and regarded as a good luck or protective charm for sailors and fishermen. Problem free and attractive. MINT STATE.

From the Vincent Alones Collection.
