29.3 mm (exclusive of loop); 15.6 gms (including suspension loop). cf.Diakov-901.6. As Diakov-901.6 but the obverse is signed "L S" for L. Steinman instead of "A G" for A. Griliches, the usual engraver. Awarded for rescuing people from fires, drowning or natural disasters. Looped as made. Attractive toning from normal use, no significant rim or edge damage. Surfaces show no signs of significant wear. VERY FINE.
