17 pieces in lot. Primarily European, and mostly older, but there are a couple modern coin convention medals included as well. Highlights include a 1914-15 cased Austrian medal featuring a battleship, a bronze 1929 Karl Goetz medal, K-435, for the Bavarian Numismatic Society, a 56 mm silver 1913 medal for the marriage of Prince Ernst-August and Princess Viktoria of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, and an intriguing high-relief silver medal for the Coronation of Sweden's Queen Christina (1626-1689) in Stockholm. Struck in silver, copper, bronze and white metal in sizes from 15-60 mm. Retail value about $1,000. Some inspection suggested. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. VERY FINE to UNCIRCULATED.
