Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Michael IX. 1282-1328. AV Hyperpyron Nomisma (23mm, 3.36 g, 6h). Class IIb. Constantinople mint. Struck circa 1303-1320 or later. Half-length figure of the Theotokos, orans, within city walls with four towers; sigla: B above •(?) | K(?) above •(?) / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus and Michael kneeling to left and right, respectively. Cf. DOC 327-49 (for type); PCPC 128 (uncertain sigla); SB 2396. VF, some light scratches. Crudely made as usual.
