CHINA. Szechuan. 2 Cents, Year 19 (1930). PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder.
Y-476; CL-SCJ.62; CCC-451; Duan-1756; Hsu-315. VERY RARE. Overstruck on an Szechuan Empire 20 Cash. Remnants of the undertype visible under magnification at centers. Ghosting of the pearl of wisdom or flame ball at center of obverse while the reverse has ghosting of the imperial mintmark "Chuan" at center. An interesting example with a fully identifiable host coin. This is the second example that we have been able to confirm being overstruck on an earlier 20 Cash with the other being from the Ake Linden collection. Well struck with good definition of the details and a lovely patina. PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder.

From the Sang Lin Collection.

Estimate: $9000.00- $12000.00
