CHINA. Chihli (Pei Yang). Communications Merit Medal, ND (ca. 1924).
Barac-175. Eight pointed multi-rayed green and white star with a central medallion featuring the flag of the Republic of China and a compass upon a blue globe. The reverse with star as obverse, but the central medallion is green and bears a two-line inscription. The medal is suspended from a blue cloud hanger which is looped and attached by a jump ring to a blue bordered white silk ribbon. One tiny chip is noted at the tip of a white ray at seven o'clock on the obverse, otherwise the enamels are complete, with only the typical surface abrasions. Quite a handsome medal. EXTREMELY FINE.
