KM-31; Tan-SSC21. Silver. RARE transitional year for the denomination. The silver 5 Cent coinage was replaced with a copper-nickel issue of slightly different design (KM-36) with nearly all of the earlier mintage presumably melted down. Good strike with medium grey toning and soft satin underlying luster. NGC AU-53.
