THAILAND. 1, 5, & 10 Satang Struck in Gold, RS 127 (1908).
Fr-26e, 26f, & 26g; KM-Pn50, Pn51, & Pn52. 3 pieces in set, all NGC graded. Satang (MS-65), 5 Satang (MS-63), and 10 Satang (MS-64). On 11 November 1908, the Siamese government elected a gold standard law, establishing a new decimal system. This called for the striking of new subsidiary coinage in the denominations of Satang, 5 Satang, and 10 Satang. The set offered here contains patterns/presentation strikes of the above mentioned denominations in gold. VERY RARE. Some light toning evident on all three pieces, attractive luster, sharply struck and good eye appeal. NGC MS-63, 64, & 65.
