CRUSADERS, Venetians in the Levant. 14th-15th centuries. AV Ducat (19mm, 3.55 g, 8h). Imitating an issue of doge Andrea Dandolo of Venice. St. Mark standing right, holding Gospels and presenting banner to Doge kneeling left / Christ standing facing, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels, surrounded by mandorla containing nine stars.
