GREAT MONGOLS: Anonymous, ca. 1220s-1230s, AV dinar (4.63g), Badakhshan, ND, A-A1967, Zeno-90274 (same dies), citing the caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah on the obverse, the kalima on reverse, fully clear mint name above kalima, some weakness, always undated, VF, RR. All known specimens of Badakhshan gold dinars of the early Great Mongol period are anonymous (except for the caliph) and all are from the same pair of dies.
