ILKHAN: Ghazan Mahmud, 1295-1304, AR dirham (2.29g), Akshehir (Aqshahr), AH(6)99, A-2175, local type of the Akshehir mint, excellent strike, lovely VF to EF, RRR, ex Ruud Schüttenhelm collection. Obverse text in Arabic, khan a'zam qazan / wa sultan mahmud / khalad Allah sultanahu, all in excellent Arabic calligraphy; reverse similar to the standard pre-reform coinage of Ghazan and his immediate predecessors.
