ZABULISTAN: Martan Shah Spur, late 7th century, AR ddrachm (3.24g), ZAWB (Zabulistan), year 8, G-211, based on the standard Sasanian drachm of Khusro II, with addition marginal legends on both sides, and a outer 4th circle on reverse, some light hornsilver on the obverse (and a tiny bit on reverse), VF to EF, RRR. Listed by göbl as unique, not included by vondrevoc. the obverse marginal pahlavi legend translates to "in the name of god, his majesty, the Lord Wahmanaz Martan," with his additional title "spur" to the right of the king's bust. The reverse marginal legend is APD / SPWLAN, "fine currency of Spur". This type was likely a transitional type between earlier Hephthalite types and the Anahita type, also in the name of Martan Shah Spur (Göbl-212/216, of which 216 is only moderately rare).
