Manuel I Comnenus. 1143-1180. EL aspron trachy (27 mm, 2.01 g, 6 h). Second coinage. Struck 1152-circa 1167. Christ Pantokrator seated facing on throne; barred IC XC across upper field / Manuel and the Theotokos standing facing, holding patriarchal cross on small globe between them. SBCV 1958; DOC 3a. Good VF, broken flan (missing piece).
