Elagabalus AR Denarius. Mule type with reverse of Julia Maesa. Uncertain mint (Antioch?), AD 218-222. IMP ANTONINVS AVG, laureate and draped bust right, seen from behind / IVNO, Juno, veiled and standing left, holding patera and sceptre; peacock at her feet on left. Cf. RIC 59 & 184 for obv. type from the mints of Rome and Antioch; cf. RIC 256 for this rev. type on a denarius of Maesa. 2.93g, 20mm, 6h.

Very Fine. Toned. A very interesting hybrid denarius, possibly unique.
