Charioteer driving trotting quadriga right, Nike flying left above, crowning charioteer / ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙ-ΟΝ, head of Arethusa right, hair in sakkos decorated with meander pattern in band; four dolphins around. Boehringer Series XXIII, 709 (V347/R485). HGC 2, 1322. Edge splits, otherwise a pleasing example of a rare head type.
