Startling quality for a coin over 400 years old, with impressively defined, mostly brilliant surfaces that show just a hint of golden tone along the outer legends. While we've offered this Davenport number previously (twice - once in 2007 and before that in 2005), this is our first offering of the variety with the error legend that has a higher value in the Standard Catalog of World Coins of $2,200 in XF.
