Mindon gold 2 Mu 1 Pe (1/4 Mohur) CS1228 (1866) MS62 PCGS, KM20, Fr-5. Obv. Chinthe (Temple lion) facing left with date below. Rev. Wreath with legend. The strike is very crude, as normal for the issue, and significant luster can be seen below the light reddish patina. A conditionally rare gold issue, with only a single example certified finer (MS63). The finest example we have seen.
