Provisional 2 Reales 1813 MS63 Brown NGC, Popayan mint, KM-B2, Restrepo-116.1. A desirable Royalist issue that was struck during the War of Independence. Rare quality, with lustrous surfaces and remnants of mint red on both sides. Several small marks around POPAYAN on the reverse prevent a finer grade. Similar overall to the Robert Lissner Collection example (in the same grade) that brought $1,100 hammer in 2014.
