Henry V (1413-1422) gold Noble ND AU Details (Scratches) NGC, London mint, Class F, Pierced Cross mm, S-1746, North-1374. Crowned king on ship, a mullet and annulet by king's sword hand, a trefoil by his shield, and a broken annulet on ship's side / Floriate cross, an "h" at the center and a trefoil in the second quarter. A handsomely toned example of this issue, with lightly porous surfaces and a series of long scratches running from the king's face nearly to the edge of the coin. NGC has misattributed this piece as S-1743.
