George I 5 Lepta 1882-A MS65 Brown NGC, Paris mint, KM54. A magnificent gem with stunning color and luster, this piece is especially desirable in a grade such as this. A similar example graded NGC MS65 realized a hammer of $900 in our 2012 NY sale (auction 3017, lot 28743) and, in the opinion of this cataloger, the present specimen, though technically the same grade, would appear to be far superior in terms of surfaces and color.
