Meiji gold 5 Yen Tear 3 (1870) MS65+ NGC, Osaka mint, KM-Y11, JNDA 01-3, Fr-47. A fully lustrous example, with a bit of central softness in the strike. The color has a rich amber tint and the surfaces exhibit only a few tiny handling marks. Also noted on the obverse are several interesting die breaks.
