ROMAN EMPIRE: Caracalla (AD 196-217). Lot of ten (10) AR denarii. Fine - XF. A diverse group from an old European collection, with many bust types and a nice mix of Caesar and Augustus. Includes the following reverses: Priestly implements (with extremely rare bust seen from front), Spes standing with flower, trophy with captives, Jupiter standing with eagle and thunderbolt, Securitas standing with spear and shield, Fortuna standing with rudder, Felicitas standing with caduceus, Mars standing with spear, Mars standing with spear and shield, Securitas seated with scepter. Generally even wear and decent surfaces, an attractive group with several scarce varieties, should be examined closely. SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
