Marquess of Dufferin and Ava silver Pattern Presentation Medal ND (c. 1888) UNC - Brushed, 51mm. An appealing pattern medal, likely produced around 1888 when Burma was made an Indian province under Frederick Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood as Viceroy of India. The obverse is beautifully toned and the reverse, lacking the inscriptions of the issued medals, exhibits some hairlines from a past brushing.
