Struck circa 927/30–939. ÆÐELSTAN RE+ TO BR, small cross pattée / + CENΛPΛ MON LEGEC[...]•, rosette in the form of a small cross pattée with pellets in angles. Blunt, Aethelstan 328; SCBI 6 (Edinburgh), 174–5 var. (same obv. die); North 681; SCBC 1099. VF, darkly toned, small rim chip. Unusual rendering of the rosette.
