MACEDON, Akanthos. Circa 525-470 BC. AR Tetrobol (15.5mm, 2.31 g). Forepart of lion right, head turned as if biting prey; floral ornament above / Quadripartite incuse square. AMNG III/2, 13; HGC 3.1, 386. EF, toned, die break on obverse. Exceptional for issue.
