BRUTTIUM, Kroton. Circa 530-500 BC. AR Nomos (27mm, 6.66 g, 12h). Spread incuse type. Tripod, legs terminating in lion's feet, serpents rising from bowl / Incuse tripod as obverse. Gorini 2; HN Italy 2075; SNG ANS 233. Near VF, even deep gray tone with slight iridescence.
